Ecologizare pentru natura!

Credem ca nu doar informarea ci si puterea exemplului conteaza.

Astfel am incheiat proiectul de Monitorizare si informare a turistilor din zonele de picnic neamenajate printr-o ecologizare. Sambata, 20 septembrie, 17 voluntari GEEA, inimosi si iubitori de natura, au ecologizat cateva zone de pe Transfagarasan si au strans 75 de saci cu deseuri, dintre care 10 de sticla si cioburi de sticla.  Read More …

Flash mob for nature!

How did the Thursday 7th August differ from every other summer evening at Pitesti?

Eight countries from all over the world participated in a GEEA’s flash mob, showing gratefulness for our hostess, Romania, but also doing our best so as to introduce our environmentally conscious projects to the locals.

Starting with the Pakistani, who proudly waved his flag in the sky when he heard his national anthem and followed by Greece, Taiwan, Armenia, China, Turkey, Romania, Poland, all countries joined gradually in the multicultural team gathered at the fountain square. After presenting our countries shortly, we moved into the rhythm of several international hymns to diminishing national differences and bonding the world all together. Read More …

Camping and monitoring picnic areas at Vidraru Lake!

Vacations are a need of ours and free camping is our right, but protecting Nature is our duty! Keeping that in mind, we began a two-day trip to the mountains and forests of the Arges Region early in the morning on Saturday 12/7/2014, to take part in the “Monitoring picnic areas” project. This expedition was organized by Sir Eric and Ms Georgiana, two of the founders of the G.E.E.A. NGO and, apart from them, it included the three foreign volunteers, Hammad from Pakistan, Edison from China and Jessica from Greece.
